I cannot believe it's been exactly one year today that I joined the AT Forums. I must say that a lot has happened since then. I've made a few friends, flamed a few ones, nef'd here and there, and had lots of great deals!

In commemoration of my first AnandTech B-day, please post in this thread:
1. What you like the most about AT

1. I like the articles and reviews even though I can't afford half of what the AT staff review, it's still nice to dream about the perfect computer configuration.

2. I love Off Topic, Networking, For Sale/Trade and Hot Deals forums. They're Grrreat!

3. Religion, Abortion, Politics -- they all lead to bantering anyway

4. TuffGuy and cchen (I just closed my "Last Deal" with the latter)

1. i love the sense of community. i buy/sell/trade here with confidence because i know that the other traders are watching my back, and i return the favor.

2. mostly for sale/trade. off-topic consumes a LOT of my time when i wander on in here. and i'm just starting to hang out in the hot deals forum. but considering my financial situation, i think i need to stay away from there.

3. china bashing threads. i don't like to take sides, but i just don't like the general feeling of anti-asian sentiment that tends to seep out in those threads.

4. most recent people to PM me? i kinda miss chit chatting with people over off-topic issues, but lately all my PMs are involving current deals i'm in.
