my parents e-mailed me today to tell me that my sister is finally having her baby! i can't believe it, i'm getting OLD!

i hope my sister's doing ok, she also found out she had kidney stones a few days earlier and i know she doens't deal well with pain hehe.

oh, and she took classes for hypno-birth. has anyone every tried this? she claims it works but i'll ask her after she has the baby to find out the REAL truth!

it's a nephew. i believe the last time i checked that they were going to name him benjamin.

and yes, i already staked claims on his "favorite aunt" title. i just have to beat out my other sister which will be very tough. she's so freaking nice!!!

🙂

hypno-birth? never heard of it.

When my son was born, we were going to try to go without any medications, BUT things got out of hand quickly and my wife needed an epidural and potosen. I am sure we made the right decisions, even though they weren't what we imagine would we would do. Tell your sister to stay flexible with the birthing plan and good luck!

Major congrats are in order 😀

Don't feel too old yet...you still aren't rocking the oxygen tank, so there's some pep in your step yet 🙂
You know, if you put that sister into a candy coated bear trap, and then give the trap to the niece/nephew, the candy'll win the kid over quick...😀

Congrats! Playing with the niece and nephews is one of my greatest joys! I hope it will be one of your greatest joys, too! 🙂

<< Can we call you Aunt Wheezie? >>

no 😛

but i'll be sure to show him the way of the weezer. he'll be singing along to weezer songs before he sings along to barney songs!

No better way to rear the younguns than with some "Buddy Holly" 😀
Make sure it's not gonna be that Olsen Twins cover of any Weezer songs...that stuff's poison...

Ha, congrats! I have 8 nieces & nephews, and they are so cool. A couple months back I had my Godson(2 1/2 years old) singing Island in the Sun!

Congrats, and remember, the best toys are the noisy toys. Especially those that make annoyingly repetitive noises.

And being an aunt does not make you old. I was an uncle at the ripe old age of 7 (I now have 2 nephews that have graduated from college, so I am allowed to feel old).

Me too! It was definitely wierd growing up. None of my friends believed that I was an uncle.

'Grats!!! I will be a uncle in March! I can't wait.

If it's a boy : Julian Muc
a girl : Emily Muc

It would be cool to have a niece... I would have her join the forums and call herseld Mucgirl 🙂

🙂

Damn well better be! Any other way would be just plain wrong... 😉
p.s. Weezer is coming near by in about a month, but I won't be able to go because I have a test that night. 🙁 Why couldn't they come on a weekend, dammit!

Thats sooo great .. I'm an aunt three times over thanks to marrying my hubby .. its great .. I will be making my brother an uncle in the middle of May according to my OB/GYN hehe .. hopefully it wont be too long before his wife and him return the favor !

oh god, don't remind me! 😛

glad to see so many people like weeeezer 🙂

screw the test, go see weezer sir fredrick! 🙂 (it'll be worth it hehe)

I'm seriously considering skipping the test...but I'm failing this class already. Maybe if I bribe my professor he'll let me take it on another day...

It was weird for me too. When I played little league baseball, I was a pitcher, and my teammates would chant "Uncle Jim" when I was pitching because they got a kick out of my nephews calling me that.

yeah i know what u mean. i have a friend who has 10 brothers and sisters and his nephew is older then him! weird huh?

Hey, that's very cool 😀 I became an aunt at the ripe old age of 6! It's such a wonderful responsibility, enjoy it!
