I recently upgraded the cpu to a pair of 1900+, 3 days later it won't boot anymore. This board is one of the earliest version. Was working fine this morning before I left for work. I shut down the computer and when I came home it won't boot🙁
Sorry to hear that IsOs. I had an early 2460 and it was rock solid. I sold it to Will (Crazee) a while back and AFAIK it's still churning out the SETI units.
Hope you can get an RMA on your board and get it back up and running. 🙂
Thats the thing about the 2460/2462, you either get one that lasts forever or shortly. Just make sure your PSU isnt the culprit. Those puppies take some juice.
I can't find the invoice for this board. I don't even remember where did I purchased this motherboard. I'll try to see if Tyan will give RMA even without an invoice.

I remember I had an Abit board go bad (yeah, I'm shocked
) and they would RMA it with or without the invoice. The difference was if I had the invoice I didn't have to pay for their shipping. If I didn't I had to prepay shipping. Either way I paid for my bad board to be shipped to them.
yeah, and its rocksolid... My main rig is still running on a BX board... 83 MHz FSB, as stable as it was 3 years ago! Wooohooo! I think in 10 years it will still run fine 😀
Sorry for your lost Tyan... hope you get it RMAed. Good luck!
My old Abit BH6 300A @ 450 is still running today. I sold it to a friend long ago but it's still rock solid even at 2.3(?) volts (whatever the default max was).
Unfortunatly, my success with Abit boards was done after that. I think I had 3 of them go bad before I switched to ASUS.
