Don't the offer free forwarding? You can still "pretend" that it's your address if they do (change "Repy-to" field in your mail client).

not that i'm aware of

I'm glad they finally took my repeated emails to them seriously, and finally cancelled your illegal account.

I remember the day I lost my college email ... it lasted till about '01 ... was sad to lose all those emails.

If I put them altogether, I'm sure I would've been able to piece my college life back together. I miss college so much.

ElFenix, if you are in Exes, you can get an alumni address. its like @ alumni.mail.utexas. I graduated in 2002 and my mail.utexas still works too!

I lost my university account in June. It just stopped working one day. I can still log into the system and have webspace still up, but they have locked the mailbox. Still, it's a good place to host some perl scripts and webpages without worrying about bandwidth.

I had it from Dec 1994 - June 2004.

That reminds me, wasn't Comcast supposed to stop forwarding @attbi.com addresses in December 2004?!

I still have quite a few things that I need to change to @comcast.net.

That sucks. My under grad and grad schools both offer free forwarding for life. Go Ivy League!

Hey, I'm a longhorn graduate too.

I entered 1999, graduated this past may 2004. I heard that you can keep your email address as long as no one else wants the same name.

Anyways, why don't you get an alumni.utexas.net address?
