It sucks being a nurse.

This bottles nearly finished.

everyone go look at their nearest and dearest and realize how much you love them. Give them a hug.

be safe

Been working in healthcare for almost 10 yrs now. Seen alot of shit I dont ever want to remember. If I can offer any condolence, its that someday it wont even bother you anymore. Wheter thats good or bad, I dont know. Still though, after all the years, the kids still get to me. The hardest for me was seeing a 20 month old code and we couldnt bring him back.

This I'll get over with a few more drinks.

Your probably right, but as I'm half way through the second I'm not going to worry too much!

I've always found alcohol (and a spell check) very handy for work related emotional probs.

Work related stuff is mostly transient and buy the time the alcohol has worn of so has the emotional sting.

Obviously you don't want to overdo it

(and check what your drinking, just realized Ive necked a 7 year old tempranillo (although I do feel a lot better))

You should see them before they reach the ER. (If they even do.)

Make sure you talk to your coworkers (or somebody that understands) about it.
