i was spending too much time wondering if this person was on or not while at work, so i just said fvck it.

if someone wants to talk to me I will be signed on, but there will be no one on my list.

used to have 200+ people, we'll see how long it will last now.

link to buddy list

i did that to my msn. i used to have a good 75 people on there, more than 90% i didn't talk to, so i erased only the ones i actually cared about talking to. works out nice 🙂

Why didn't you just uninstall aim...this is like a crack addict flushing his stash down the toliet. You'll be in there with a toliet snake to try and get it out in about 2 hours.

oh, good, that looks like gaim!

Anyways, I used to have a bunch of Buddies (like 200 or so) until I realized that I don't talk to those idiots and I could care less how many buddies I had. I slashed the list down to the people I actually talk to, which is now about 12 people or so (including family).

I hardly use any IM clients now days, I'd rather just call someone or have them call me then sit there and "chat".

But I hate talking on the phone also, so I guess that just leaves in person convo. for me.

I used to have so many people on my ICQ list... I hardly talked to 10% probably anymore... so - one day I deleted everyone... and when someone messages me, I re-add them...

Now I have no one on my list....... hehehe 🙂

So 🙁

the thing about gaim is it has a feature that automatically adds the people that IM you, so now i technically have 3 people on there, until i manually delete them and turn off that feature.

i still have it if one of my clients has a question and doesn't want to call.
