You bought the good stuff.

Once you eat a jar of that, the regular stuff will taste way too sweet.

I like both, but I'll always like Jiff more, I don't care that it's not natural, it's delicious. The Jiff natural is pretty decent for a natural PB though.

Most "natural" PB is still full of sugar and salt. Check those labels. Trader Joe's unsalted only has one ingredient.

Natural PB means no hydrogenated oil.

Did you remember to mix the oil and solid together. If you notice the oil separates from the solid, you need to mix it, and refrigerate it.

This, it needs to be mixed or it will probably taste terrible

When mixed it's just as good/better than regular PB, just slightly more annoying with the mixing

It is probably because they don't add any extra sugar to it, the only ingredients are a slight amount of sea salt, and peanuts.

Jiff is full of added sugars.

I think it is better, but it can take some time to get used to the big difference.

You don't have to refrigerate natural peanut butter, apparently bacteria won't grow in it.

Refrigeration is just to slow oil separation. The oil could also get rancid I suppose, but I've never had that happen. I don't usually refrigerate it.

Congrats. You've moved from candy to real peanut butter. I like the no-salt version. :p

You refrigerate it so it doesn't separate again after you mix it.

The difference between "processed" peanut butter and the "natural" (raw) stuff - the raw stuff tastes like ground up peanut paste, the processed stuff tastes like peanut flavored sugar.

We use (raw) almond butter or sunflower butter depending on which of our kids is eating, due to allergies. Not peanuts in our house.

I've just switched to the Kirkland brand natural peanut butter, it's great!

After opening it at first it's different, but when refrigerated it's fine.

Throw sugar in it and stir it up. It'll be passable. I wanted to try the natural stuff and bought a small jar of Smuckers. That shit is horrible.

WTF! this stuff is horrible!

It says smooth....but its not smooth!

the only word I can think of for it would be.....nappy...

BAN!

Okay, I am just kidding. I think I am anyway...

Costco natural peanut butter is really the best that's available IMHO. I was upset when they stopped stocking it for several months and really couldn't bring myself to eat other brands. Now that it's back, I have six jars in reserve! :p

It's real peanut butter (not like that lardy Jif or Skippy crap) and not salty like Adams. Give it a fair chance. Once you adjust to real peanut butter, you'll never go back!

I love the natural peanut butter. Although, the local Costco doesn't carry a Kirkland brand of it, but rather a locally produced one.

I wish Costco was better about keeping stuff in stock.

When I was a kid I used to love peanut butter, then my dad switched to that natural shit. I hated it and no longer liked peanut butter. Now that I'm an adult I buy the good (unhealthy) shit and I love peanut butter once more.

Ill beat you all with the Fred Meyer brand peanut butter. Cheaper than Skippy even. Tastes exactly the same though. Full of hydrogenated oils. So delicious. I eat it by the spoonful in the morning. Peanut butter is a terrific breakfast food.

I don't understand how people eat the shit with sugar in it. I love the natural PB like Costco has, or Laura Scudder's.
