This guy has a face that just wants to make me destroy him, they couldn't of picked a better match for his role.

Anyone else have these feelings?

Toby is one of my favorite characters on the show.

He's the proverbial "nice guy."

He's not a nice guy, his face and personality just wants to make me DESTROY him. Stanley on the other hand is a gangstaa :D

Hahaha, I just finished watching 4th season on Netflix, have not started 5th season yet
Michael's interactions with Toby are pure gold.

*SPOILER*

My favorite Toby line ever:

Toby Flenderson: I don't think Michael intended to punish me by putting Ryan back here with Kelly, but if he did intend that... Wow. Genius

*SPOILER OVA*

here's to hoping that season five offers some 'pure gold' soon.

I've been thoroughly disappointed so far.

Toby is the voice of reason in sea of chaos that is Dunder Mifflin. It's funny/sad to see him try to fulfill his duties as HR rep (like talking Dwight out of cleaning a goose in the office) while still trying to be cool and liked by the rest of the office, which he generally is. His frustrated crush on you-know-who is icing on the story-line cake.

and my favorite scene w/ Toby is during "The Deposition" episode, where they are reading Micheal's journal.

"Mr. Scott, who's this other woman, Ryan, who you refer to here as "just as hot as Jan but in a different way"

his reaction is great.

Michael: [in the bathroom] Help! Help me!
Toby: [at the bathroom door] What happened?
Michael: I fell off the toilet?caught between the toilet and the wall.
Toby: What do you need?
Michael: Ugh, not you. Someone else?get Pam?
Toby: I don?t think Pam?s gonna want to come into the men?s room.
Michael: Get Ryan! He need?s to lift me! And he needs to clean me up a little bit?bring a wet towel?
Ryan: [shaking his head and signaling to Toby]
Toby: Ryan is?uh?dead?can you get up yourself? You only grilled your foot?

We're not all antisocial. We just hate people, and try to make their life a living hell...damn, I want some friends :(

Best scenes are from Tobey's last day at the Office. The scene where michael gives him a rock for a going away present had me in tears.

Saying "could of" instead of "could have" makes me wanna kick you in the balls until they fall off.

That's one of the greatest moments of any Office episide. Toby's vindication. :)

I hope Toby comes back permanently, I thought the Holly character was an awful addition to the show. Michael Scott needs a nemesis, not a soulmate.

Exactly. :)

I like Toby. I'm sure most of the ATOT nerds can at least slightly identify with wanting more social contact but feeling shy. Of course, more of us probably identify more strongly with Dwight. ;)
