So, I was just swapping my MSI GF4 4400 into another rig and I noticed it looked a little singed. The nice fins on the HS looked like they'd been toasted - a real nice golden brown (this is on a silver metal/plastic sort of material). Turns out the fan doesn't get enough juice to keep it spinning when sitting upright in my tower. With the tower on the side it looks like it spins correctly at full speed. I must have "just" caught it as it died because after dropping it in the new box my video started cutting out and I rebooted. Not a good sign.
So, I got this from newegg maybe 6 months ago. Anyone RMA'd stuff with newegg? Do I need to contact newegg or MSI to get this fixed? I guess this means I'm looking at getting a new video card in the interim.
