Toast Bread in the Microwave?

I know some microwaves advertise that you can toast bread in them, but what about on microwaves that don't say this. Can you simply use the Convection Oven feature? If so for how long usually?

I could really go for some grilled cheese right now.

So how does it work? Is it basically a convection oven in a microwave oven, basically a two in one heating system? There's no way microwave could char.

back in college i used to toast my bread in a microwave. Wasnt super great but it was better then nothing
