To Window or not to window, That is the question

Do you have a case worth bragging about?
Does it have a window?
How about a custom paint job?
I'm curious to hear about it.

Nope never. I'm a boring person.

Although, I can think of one or two designs I'd be interested in. :D

Gonna try and sell me something? :p

Since I have a very unhealthy obcession for the Dune series, I think a Sandworm coming out of the sand would look neat on a window. Maybe with a redish brown tint...

i just want a side panel with a fan near the CPU HSF so i can cool the cpu better. other than that, i keep my computer to my left. there's no point in a window for me. plus, i like to keep it on the ground. it feels to cluttered and close if it's next to me.

Why 2 SCSI cards?
More aggregate bandwidth for those occasions when I want to use one drive while the other is hammering away at something (daily antivirus scan, for one example). Yeah, so I'm picky... ;)

Actually the photos are outdated... the A7N8X Deluxe & AthlonXP got replaced with a K8V Deluxe and A64, and it's currently got just one SCSI card and the faster of the two drives. But I plan to reconsolidate once I've got an nF3 250Gb board. More-recent photo

On 32bit PCI? ew. ;)
If I could afford a single Opteron, 1-2GB of R-ECC DDR400, a Tyan Thunder K8W and a decent EPS power supply, AND a new case that it would actually fit into, AND a PCI-X or 64-bit PCI SCSI controller, then I would certainly consider it. :) Working 80% of full time at a non-profit agency pretty much eliminates the chances of that happening. :p

I ended up getting 1 64bit SCSI card for free from a friend (along with a disk), 1 off of the FS/FT forum, and I think a refurb from Dell or newegg or something. Of course, the only one I'm using is on an old TigerMP waiting to be upgraded... :D
