My xfx xxx 8800gtx so coming later today, i am thinking should i get a better mobo and faster ram? check out specs below:
 
You should at least wait until X38 comes out so you will have a PCIe 2.0 motherboard to go along with the 9800GTX you'll most likely be buying in a few months.
 
btw... what kind of board is an "asus pbm vm do"? A google search for that only finds your AT forum posts, is that supposed to be Asus P5B something or another?
 
If the board is a P5B then there's no reason to upgrade, the difference would be so small that you wouldn't notice it.
As fot the RAM, it's some of the best RAM you can get. It's got Micron D9GMH chips, which almost all oft the high-end DDR1066-1200 RAM use, it should de DDR1100 no problems at 2.2V (->stock voltage).
