Was just proposed to me:

I would send:

Steve Smith, WR - Carolina
Jamal Lewis, RB - Baltimore

I would receive:

Joe Horn, WR - New Orleans
Kevin Jones, RB - Detroit

My current RB and WR corps are:

WR
Randy Moss, Keyshawn Johnson, Antawn Randle El, Steve Smith, Brandon Stokely, and David Patten

RB
Curtis Martin, Warrick Dunn, Jamal Lewis, Duce Staley, and Kevan Barlow

I wouldn't. Smith is going to have a monster year. Just check out the damage he is doing in the preseason.

I think its a good trade for you.
Joe Horn would be a solid 1B reciever for you.
And you have enough RBs to offset losing Jamal Lewis.
Other that, its pretty even trade.
I'm not as high on Smith as other people are.
Hes too short to be a dominate WR.

i wouldnt do it, jamal lewis is going to have a monster yr. WR are too inconsistent, sometimes they have like 2 catches and then a breakout game.
Great RB are so dependable every week.

kevin jones is good but definitely not proven like jlewis. steve smith should do fine with a healthy delholme. aaron brooks isn't consistent so i'd be weary about a wr on his team. plus you have solid wr's in moss and smith, patten is handwavy because there are no real standouts on ne b/c brady spreads it out so much not to mention correy dillon getting a load of carries. curtis martin is a work horse and will get you your 100 yards but if you play in a touchdown based league you may be sour with his performance. kevan barlow is as good as the rest of the team he's on, niners are rebuilding and should have done so without him. duce should be fine but touchdowns may be scarce considering the bus pounding it in on close yardage situations. dunn? use him as a attachment to a trade, he would not be on my starting roster considering you're having him split "runs" with vick.

who do you have for qb's?

i think Kevin Jones will be a top 5 back this year
but i also think Jamal Lewis will have a HUGE year

i think i would counter offer Jamal Lewis for Joe Horn and Kevin Jones

I dont think Joe Horn will have a big a year as he has, say the last 2, because the saints plan on going back to the running game and using Duece a lot more, at least according to my roommate who is a saints fan. Also they dont have a really strong 2nd WR so they will be able to double team horn a lot i think

They're all quality players. But I think Smith/Lewis are the better players out of the deal. I'd keep your players. Lewis got 1,000 yards rushing in just 12 games and had to deal with his jail time.

standard yahoo league, your qb's look good seems like you drafted well. brady is a strong start and brees is alright pending his receiving core performance.
