I maintain a ghost image that I have tweaked to be compatible with all the different hardware I support. Saves me a ton of time.

Just recently I began ordering Intel 945G boards and have run into an issue with the onboard sound card (Sigmatel HD Audio chip of some kind).

Problem is: I can't get the drivers to install. It gives a "Device not Present error" when I run the setup program.

If I install a fresh copy of XP from the CD and sysprep it like normal, the drivers install fine.

Anyone else running into the same headache?
