what type of game is it similar too?

Seems like resident evil like and i was never into that type of game....

what do you think.

Similar to RE, but the combat is much better than RE. You can actually move and shoot at the same time. The flashlight/flare mechanic was implemented really well.
 
Yes, I'd agree with the Max Payne style of story telling.

The mechanics are much better than RE. I don't think I really compare the game to RE at all. Eastern survival horror is different than Western survival horror (imo).

It's a beautiful looking game and plays really well. I got about a 1/4 in to it but then picked up pc gaming and haven't touched my console since. I wish AW would have been released on the pc as was originally intended.
