To those who have been to Guitar Center: Do they have the headphones on display to try out?

I've heard Guitar Center stocks a decent collection of headphones at it stores. Do they typically have them on display to test out?

Debating if its worth the 45 minute trip tomm.

Ehh, not really, at least at the 2-3 I've been at. Definitely not worth the 45 minute trip at least. They do have a lot, but they're not on display.

Curious to check out the ATH-ANC7. I have the ES7's for my portable setup, but they get too hot and uncomfortable on my ear. Looking for something a bit larger to go over my ears, and NC would be nice since I don't want an IEM.

The one near me doesn't. Itd be worth your trip to find some speaker dealers near you. Most speaker dealers also deal headphones and will gladly allow you to audition their offerings.

The Guitar Center near my home has models that they'll open and let you test out. They don't have a very good selection, though... last time I went (about a year or two ago), they only had DT770s and HD280 Pros worth mentioning (and some various crappy AKGs that I absolutely did not like; I seem to recall the K240M as one of them).

I haven't dropped by in a while, though... I'll probably do that during winter break with my source and rock out.
