People who packet flood and perform other denial of service attacks deserve the worst punishment available. Worse than spammers. Denial attacks are awful not just because they can knock you off the internet or effect your time, but if the person is malicious enough they can actually knock your segment offline from the ISP side, causing your ISP some headaches. And stupid fucking script kiddies do it because they don't know any better and think they've found some method of power over others.
