For those of you that have been laid off/fired recently, how long has it taken you to find and start a new job? For me, its been about a month, got my 1st interview next week.

i wasnt laid off per se, but I was looking for a new opportunity.

My interview process with one of the big 5 will have taken 2 months total from beginning to end, if not a bit more.

Crazy

well let's see... i've been out of work since march..... still out of work (kinda). just working as consultant. fun really! i think i'll never have a permanent job again. i enjoy my freedom way too much after 3 years working in a startup (and it wasn't a .com)

I spent a horid 6.5 months out of work. Your results may vary (and I hope they do, on the lower end of course).
