To those in Bay Area....Do you know what happened to city-com??

To those lives in Bay Area and are fimilar with the local computer venders
and the local computer show..

Do any of you guys know what happened to my favorite vender "city-com"??
They were at the Oakland Computer 5/26/01 but didn't show up at the
San Mateo Computer Show on 6/2/01...I stopped by their store in Union City
last weekend and found a note on their door which says they are closed for
inventory on 6/4 and 6/5..but when I peek in the door, the whole place was
empty and no sign of any business at all..(the sign on front door was taken
down too)..and the web-site which was function til yesterday also stopped
working..

It's just so odd..and I feel terrible at losing my favorite vender..both prices
and services were good there..

Just moved to the bay area and was wondering where do you find out where comp shows are gonna be?

They usually hold them at The Tampa Convention Center or The Florida State Fairgrounds.

sleepdragon: city-com is gone? i live only a couple minutes away and have been there a few times...tell me if you find any new info on this...i'll try to find out too...
