It's time for a new cell phone and it seems that the v600 is a suitable candidate. After reading reviews I hear the phone is heavy...Aside from this, can any v600 owners tell me any reasons why they wouldn't get the phone?

I currently have it, I'm actually in need of a new one though because I've dropped it about 100 times in the last month, but I can tell you that any other phone would have gave out a lot sooner, very solid feel to it, which I like.

You'd be better off with the V551.

Better RF performance (due to lack of metal housing), same features, adds video capture.

I have it, it's fine... not that heavy. My only random gripe is that you can't set an alarm clock that both vibrates and plays a ringtone (only one or the other).

I got the V400, i think its the same as the V600 but mine doesnt have bluetooth. It's a good phone, the only complaint I have is that the menus and phonebook are a little slow.

I have a nokia, which has taken a beating and a half. Works flawless, some cells are just built great. I even chucked my nokia at the concrete floor to a disbeleiving friend and it still works perfect to this day

Yeah! I've said that. That's why I need a new phone....I dropped it in the toilet  . I'm sitting and I'm like, "I didn't start yet why did i feel a splash"

But seriously.

Will the phone turn on for the alarm if the phone is off?
