Anyone have any suggestions for workout supplement shakes that taste GOOD ???

Tried 2 cheapy ones & they both tasted like chalk 🙁

Thanks guys 😉

Two bananas, nonfat milk, and non fat yogurt in a blender. If you have some protein mix, throw a little bit of that in as well.

they all taste like ass theres no way around it.

EAS myoplex is a meal replacement but tastes DECENT (its expensive).. the packets

i just got some optimum nutrition chocolate mint and strawberry and i have prolab chocolate

the 2 latter ones are kinda crappy tasting.. the chocolate mint however goes down easily and is not that bad at all.. i'd have to recommend that.. dpsnutrition sells it for $26 for 5lb i believe.

All the different ones that I've tried all taste like crap... just one of the prices to the stuff I guess...

usually the ones that taste the best have alot of added sugar that you probably don't want. I mix mine in juice and then just down it in about 5 seconds.

I always liked spirutein. Its a powder mix that you add milk to and blend. Had a pretty good taste to it. I used it to get supplemental protein but the mix got too expensive.

The stuff by EAS tastes great with 2cups of cold water, Myoplex is my fave.

Actually, EAS Simply Protein/Precision Protein tastes surprisingly like Nestle Quik. It says mix with milk so... 🙂

I don't really see the need for a full supplementation shake... you can get your nutrition from pills and food.

Creatine is pretty worthless imho... it does increase the water you carry in your muscles (making you slightly bigger) and allows you to release more energy in short periods of time (workouts and competitions). But I don't really see it as geniune strength... and I see water retention as a inhibitor to increased muscle definition.

Does creatine do anything?

I remember it was really popular a few years ago, but don't here much about it anymore....

I've used creatine on and off over the years. It definitely makes a noticiable difference in weight lifting. It can get a little expensive though, so unless you are serious into sports/training I don't know if I would recommend it for "joe average"

I used creative when I first started working out for about two months. The main benefits I noticed where that:

1) I was able to do more exercises (though not necessarily more reps in an exercise) without feeling overly tired
2) I was able to go to the gym every freakin' day without being sore

I believe the premise for creatine is that it helps your muscle fibers repair themselves more quickly, thus getting you back in the gym faster.

when in doubt go with Chocolate.

I drink Designer Whey Chololats, and it tastes like a milkshake. Try it, you wont be dissapointed.

try making your shakes the night before, and refrigerating them before you drink it... that way it's extra cold... it makes it a little better... or you can use ice... either or

not a good idea because whey protien breaks down once it's mixed, keeping it out overnight may ruin the protieny goodness. you should drink it right away, just mix it with cold water.

Prolab N large 2 s whate i have, the chocolate flaver isn't that bad if you have a half serving at a time. 500ml milk and 2 scoops 😀
