to the ucsd students out there

i am going to be attending ucsd next fall and i am chosing between either at&t or verizon. can someone who attends ucsd help me out on which provider has better reception and plans. any help is appreciated.

AT&T has the best reception in San Diego where I'm from (rancho bernardo), but I'm not 100% sure whether that applies to the UCSD area. Verizon isn't very good though anywhere in San Diego.

My friend says his Cingular gets good reception. Sprint is good everywhere. He says some people with Verizon gets about the same as him. He doens't know anyone with att.
