I never understood why people sign their posts. There's a reason the forum software allows you to save a signature.

I have signed every post I've ever made here, & I don't intend to stop now.

Though if I hadn't, I'd have saved nearly 1/4 million keystrokes by now.

I just thought of that then I saw your post. No signing for me.

Don't ask me how I found this, but I feel like a loser hanging out on an internet forum. I should say I used to until I found the people that hang out here

Most people sign their posts with their name, or nickname.

A signature is more an expression of personality, perhaps to identify an individual among many with the same name. :)
