The ones on the end of pencils always suck, they smear, they rip, etc... So I wanted to pick up some standalone erasers that will work well on scantrons.

Any recommendations?

I see High Polymer Erasers (from Pentel), Magic Rub Erasers (from Sanford), Hi-Tech Erasers from Staples, and the standard old rubber looking style.

oddly enough....I've had the best luck with a eraser on the tip of the cheapy office depot mechanical pencils. They don;t last very long, but they clean up the mess really well.

If those are the white Staedler (sp?) erasers, then hell yes. Works great for Scantrons; my uncle (architect) suggested them :p

i like the pentel clicky erasers, i think they have the same compound as the white/blue ones. the mars plastic is my choice when drafting though.
