...assuming there is at most one person from Latvia here 😉

I'll go on a journey starting next Monday, with a friend. We'll visit London from Monday to Thursday and Riga (Latvia's capital) from Thursday to Sunday and I still have to gather some informations for our trip. So if you're from one of these regions or know them well, please answer a few questions:

[*] Which local beers should we test (and which avoid)? What are alcoholic specialities there?

[*] I'm not sure if we're going the easy evenings-early mornings-route or if we should dive in the nightlife. So maybe some party animals have a suggestion for us? Our taste in music is relatively broad and includes Jazz, Big Beats and Electronica.

[*] I know I'm one of the grumpy ATPN crowd, but I always enjoy to get in contact with people from other places so if somebody feels the same and has time Tuesday or Wednesday evening, he may write me a PM or answer here.

I almost went to Latvia, last fall when I was studying aboard....but decieded to goto Budapest instead. London is pretty crazy no matter what you do, there is so much there......The UK has some pretty good national beers didn't get to try any London region local brews though.
