To the future or Past ?

If you give one chance to be on a time machine. Which one would you choose . Future or Past ? How far (Years) would you go ?
I'd go to the future.

The past has history and events you only read about and this would give me the opertunity to go and vitness it all.
The future has the unknown and that is very exciting.

I´ll probably have to say pass, I like where I am.

i would like to see the world in the future at least a century after i would have died. because if i chose the future which i will live in, i will see it sooner or later. plus i dont really want to know what happens to me in the future, just the world as a whole.

Far future, I wanna see where mankind stands. What will mankind do when overpopulation becomes too serious to ignore? My personal theory: we'll live inside the Earth in "vaults". I'll have some power armor too. I'll hunt mutants too. Seriously, we live on only the crust of the Earth, I think one day when there's no more room we'll start to move inside (assuming space colonization is still to come, or impossible for any number of reasons).

I'd want to go back in time to the founding of America and tell the formers of the declaration, consitution, etc about how it gets interpreted and see what changes they'd make and find out their real intents behind some of the interpreted sections. I also think it'd be fun to show off some of today's technology to Ben Franklin and the like.

We kind of had some idea about the past. I would go back to see how true it is of some of the stuff that we've been taught. How the Pyramid got built.
The future is kind risky. You don't know if it's gonna look like "Blade runner" or "The fith Element" or " Mad max beyond thunderdome" what I really want to see is how the technology had progressed. Who knows ? it might be just a dessert..
