I'm asking all here of any formal faith, and all here of secular good will, to keep my faithful hound Cinammon in your thoughts or in your prayers.
She is 14 1/2 years old, and has been in amazing good health for her age -- going deaf, getting cataracts, slowing down a bit but otherwise fine. Last night she started stumbling and falling over.
It's not an emergency situation, but my old vet (since retired) said she probably has a deep inner ear infection or has suffered a stroke of some sort. I will know more by this evening.
Mods, I know this is more applicable to OT, but I have few pseudo buddies amongst the kiddies. I post here, in the main, and it is here that I have such a rich array of phantom friends and sworn enemies, so it is to here that I turn.
In the last 2 1/2 years I have lost my wife Jessie and my 89 year old father, Lt. Cmdr. George Henry Perkins, USN, ret. (the last of my immediate family). I'm just not in the mood for more loss yet.
