To the dog lovers and ?? cats: What breed do you like?

For myself I prefer dogs. I have one of the rare happy type cockers and a mean little sh!t zu. I suppose some cats are OK, but most of thier personalitys don't mesh with mine. What about you?

I've always liked malemutes and huskies even though I'm not a dog person (too much work). If I got a dog, it'd probably be one of those breeds.

I like cats because if you go on vacation for a week you can just leave an automatic feed/water machine on and the cat door open. Of cat breeds I'm partial to Abyssinian, Manx and Scottish Fold.

I used to be a vet tech, so I could go on and on.

Personality wise, English Bulldogs are the best. But they have all kinds of health problems... I tend to go for terriers and terrier mixes, because they share the same obsessive compulsive, neurotic tendencies that I have. 😛

I love all animals... I've got a St Francis statue in my backyard.

FWIW, it's Shih Tzu, not sh!t zu, and my favorite breeds are Shetland Sheepdogs (have one now), and Hungarian Vizslas (parents used to have two). Excellent dogs. 🙂
