are you fscking incompetent? not only do you cut the fsck out of yourself breaking the window (as evidenced by the blood), you only steal:
1) about a buck in pennies
2) an empty plastic bag
3) a disposable camera that has been in my car for the last three years
4) a zippo lighter i got for free

there were not just one but two pairs of rayban sunglasses sitting in easy reach, but you're an idiot. how do you not check the sunglass keeper on the roof of the car? honestly, i'm not sure if i have less respect for you due to 1) that you're a thief to begin with; or 2) that you're such a loser at it.

worst thief evar

Either he was a bad thief, or just trying to pull a prank on you, but that's unlikely. He probably panicked at the sight of blood and tried to get out of there ASAP. These people need to get a life and a job.

LOL

That is worse than the idiot that stole just the beaten up faceplate of the radio in my car. Nothing else was touched.

next time, keep the doors unlocked and a note on the windshield indicating where expensive stuff and $$$ are kept in the car..LOL

no alarm in the car ?

EDIT: It probably went like this:

- Thief broke through your car window and cut himself and blood started flowing.
- Thief started swearing and also panicked a little
- Took empty plastic bag to put all stolen stuff in and easier to carry
- Looked around and found your precious zippo lighter only
- Open dash cover and found an old camera only in it and sweared more
- Opened the change location and found only pennies and sweared even more
- Decided to leave b/c you were probably labeled as a "CHEAP CAR OWNER" by him :p after he found only pennies in your change location :p

Atleast he wont be breaking in your car any more and will tell his buddies to not even try your car in the future :D

Had some lowlifes break into my car recently. Stole my deck without the faceplate and completely ignored the digital camera in the back seat.

or perhaps its all misdirection

consider that your car may now be bugged via GPS and audio bugs.

why rip the sunroof when breaking one of the windows in the door is probably easier ? I never understand this.

Its not like they are going to take the sunroof with them...and getting sunroof fixed probably costs more than getting a door window, right ?

na it was all in his backpack. it was the only thing stolen. my other friends backpacks were in the boot of the car and weren't stolen. they re suspecting its some1 they knew who they had beef with. after all, who would break into a random car just to steal a backpack - the theif wouldnt have known the ipod was in it.

Ah crap, I'll be back later to pick those up. Please put them in a convenient plastic bag(with handles) and any other valuables I may have missed. Sorry about the damage, but you locked the doors dude. What was I to do?

PS: Oh, I'll leave the Bill from Medical Clinic on the drivers seat. Please pay that right away. The last thing I need is a bad rep with the Doctor. You wouldn't believe the risks that go with this job. Well anyway, gotta go snatch a purse. Toodle doo!

have them run a dna test on the blood and have it put in the database to see if there is a match.

QFT. This case'll be solved in less than 10 minutes. Before the first commercial break, even!

On a serious note, sorry to hear that, OP. That sucks. My car has only been hit by idiot thieves as well. I do feel doubly pissed in those situations. If you're going to rob stuff, at least do it right. Don't screw up my car for nothing. Who tries to break into a beat up '86 Civic with nothing of value inside? Idiots.

Isn't that the worst? A couple years back, some idiot tried to break into my sister's car (Cabrio). First, he tried to cut into the soft top, but probably didn't realize it's tougher than it looks, so just ended up putting some holes in it. Next, he must've missed a couple times trying to break the window with whatever tool he had and dented the shit out of the top of the door. Once he got in, he couldn't get the stereo out and ended up just smashing the crap out of it. I don't think he ended up taking anything out of the car, maybe some CDs.
