To shady06- ABIT NF7S questions

To shady06 or anyone who knows about abit NFS7-S

I just received my board today and it seems to have a lot of components that come with it. One of the components that I have a question about is a lil black plastic box called the serillel. It's a serial ATA adapter that allows you to connect ATA hard drives to the SATA channels on the motherboard.

as rommelrommel, it is to hook up your harddrive through sata but in my experiance it is quite useless with "normal" (ie non-SATA) harddrives. get yourself a raptor and you can really put that to use

OH sorry about the topic being made in here. I was going to make the topic in the Motherboard section but afraid it wont get to shady(i know for sure that we have the same board).


So i should not hook my hdd to that thing? Just a regular hook up right?
