Philly SWAT officer seen pepper spraying kneeling protesters on I-676 turns himself in and will be charged

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I've got a few to describe this uniformed asshole.

"The Philadelphia SWAT officer captured on video last month pulling down protesters’ masks and pepper spraying them as they knelt on the Vine Street Expressway turned himself in Wednesday to face criminal charges — the second officer to be arrested for alleged misconduct during days-long protests over police brutality that coursed through the city in May and June.

Richard P. Nicoletti, 35, will face charges of simple assault, reckless endangerment, official oppression, and possession of an instrument of crime, District Attorney Larry Krasner said."

^^^ New Philly DA Larry Krasner is cut from a different mold than most DAs. It's a welcome change.

I would not hold my breath for any real consequences from this. Most likely they will drag it out for a few years until everyone has calmed down and then give him a slap on the wrist.

maybe cops need to be liberals before they are allowed to cop. that way they care about other people and the constitution.

Go watch...shit, I forget the name of it, but there was a documentary about a situation with the Philly police from back in the 70s I think (guess it was '85). Motherfuckers went apeshit. The entire police department ran out of bullets because they fired so many into a house (something like 10k rounds) in a single night before they just dropped a firebomb on it and let it burn down an entire row of houses (might've ended up getting most of the block, I can't quite recall), killing several people including several children (they knew there were children in there and still did it). Its fucking insane.

Ah, here it is:

Kinda curious how we still hear motherfuckers screaming about Ruby Ridge and Waco, but not a peep about that situation.
