My mom won an iPad from a contest - it's the 64GB model, 3G and wifi. I played around with it a while but I don't really care to have it and my mom doesn't care too heavily either. After I googled and saw the price of it (woooow), we decided selling it would be a good move, eBay would be good.

With Christmas coming, I figured there might be a rush to get them and maybe some stores will go out of stock (so higher bids possibly) but then I realized the iPad has been out for a bit too so I am unsure.

think I might as well just put on eBay now or wait till Christmas is closer?

Longer you wait, the fewer people there will be wanting to buy it. Then again, it really doesn't matter.

So many rushed out to get the IPad and they all they all say it's not quite what i expected. Minute i saw this in the apple store, i hated it.. Put the sucker on ebay and it will sell fast.

lol. Poor people. lol. You just don't understand do you? You're still caught up in Nerd Land, obsessing over silly numbers and other meaningless specifications that people with money don't care to be bothered with. The iPad is clearly the best tablet out there. Nothing else even comes close. I keep hearing about all these other so-called iPad killers. Where are they? The Nerds keep babbling on and on about specs this and open source that, but none of their silly little contraptions have the popularity and beauty of the iPad. lol. Idiots indeed. Everyone knows this.

I'm from a family where my dad is a stone mason and construction sucks currently and I am a college student strapped for cash. So yea, lol poor people I guess. =/

I'll put it up within the next few days I suppose.

Being "clearly the best tablet out there." in a market that hardly exists and being a glorified version of their 4" model really isn't anything to brag about. Being the best pile of shit doesn't change the fact it's still a pile of shit. There is no beauty in the iPad. In fact the iPad was so poorly planned, I'm surprised Apple was actually able to pull off sales with it. They could have done a much better job and people like YOU, the Apple fanatics, should expect more from them. It's ok though, you're just an uneducated consumer so I can't really blame you.

There are going to be more and more stories about the 2nd gen coming out somewhere between January and April, 2011. This will dampen demand at the margins. Target, best buy, and sams club all have plenty of supplies. Sell now.

I'd sell it now before other tablets on the horizon from other manufacturers start to seem more enticing.

If she does not need it I see no reason for it. I use a MBP a real computer and an iPhone a real phone. ipad just never did it for me does nothing well besides browse web everywhere.

For me it accesses servers through Citrix much more easily than having to carry a laptop around.

Also for picture galleries it's really cool the way it links up with itunes.

My wife watches a ton of movies on it too. She uses her 13" MBP a lot of times, but she carries the iPad more when mobile.

Most of the people that bash the iPad don't have enough experience with one to understand them.

They are expensive for what you get compared to a basic laptop, but they were never intended to be for all the masses.

The iPhone wouldn't be either if it weren't heavily subsidized with contracts.

I really don't think he is. It's so over the top it's gotta be what tfp thinks of apple fanbois.

he's probable typing all his post from a dell or HP or posibly from a highly overclocked, watercooled self-built.
