To sell memory or not to sell

I just upgraded my system from Corsair TwinX1024-4000pt memory (1GB, PC4000) to 2GB mushkin PC4000 memory. I may have a use for these memory modules but I was trying to decide whether or not it would make more sense to sell off the memory and buy cheaper memory or keep what I have.

I currently have a Sempron 3100+ system, I bought 512MB Kingston memory, they're not 2-2-2-5 modules, pretty much value memory, they overclock but nowhere near 250mhz. So I was wondering, since at the moment I can only overclock to 250mhz HTT on the motherboard, should I stick my Corsair modules in there and not bother selling them, or leave the kingston module in there and try to find another one. I'm thinking it would make more sense to just find another cheap 512MB module and sell off my corsair memory, what do you think?

You can keep the Corsair in your main rig and still run it in Dual Channel.

It would limit my overclocks, one reason I upgraded was so that I could go past 250mhz fsb, if I have 4 modules, I won't be able to overclock very much at all. The mushkin modules I bought have been known to go up to 295mhz.

I assume your sempron system is 754. SO NO DUAL CHANNEL ANYWAY. You can always run a divider on the Kingston memory and another dimm of value ram. Another Kingston chip or Corsair VS. Just my 2c.

No, because of the fact that I'm having trouble selling it, I'm asking since it's socket 754 with out dual channel, therefore bandwidth starved, should I stick with my PC4000 memory modules or should I sell them anyways and buy another value memory module as that should be cheaper. Only thing I can think of is that 1. 754 is memory starved relatively, and 2. I'm not going to be making much money back from the memory a bought in '04.
