To RMA, or not to RMA...

I just got an Antec TP-650 power supply today, and when I opened up the package I noticed one outside corner of the box was a bit bashed in. You think I should RMA the power supply? The PS itself seems to be OK inside.

With that kind of damage, there's no way that cardboard box is going to work inside your machine.

In all seriousness, I think that you're fine as long as the packaging absorbed the impact and not the corner of the supply itself. It might be an issue if you were keeping the package to resell the power supply at a future date, should you decide to upgrade.

Ok, thanks for the input. I checked the power supply itself over carefully and I don't see any dents or signs of damage to it.

I'm not sure why the OP would even think about RMA'ing the PSU if there's on visible damage...Connect it...see if it works. If so, run with it...if not, send it back.
RMA over a dimpled box corner? 🙄
