To RAID or not to RAID...

Alright guys heres the deal.

I'm going back to Austin (Spring Break is over ) and I have there waiting for me an Abit KR7aRAID mobo and 3 HDs

80Gig WD 7200
60Gig WD 5400
60Gig WD 5400

I am wondering whether it is more beneficial to put my OS (Windows XP) on the raided 5400s or just put them on the 7200? Which HD should be my main drive? And will RAIDed 5400s outperform the 7200? Thanks a bunch!

Hrm... my old abit raid board has problems putting raid on the c: drive... there's a work-around, but I forget what it is at this point. I decided to just use a partition on a 20 gig 7200 as the c drive for that reason.
