To push or not to push?

My 1700+ XPMW 0310 is at 12.5 x 180 2250 mhz....vcore 1.775...memory voltage 2.6
Do you guys think I should push it to 185 mhz fsb (kingston hyperx 3000) or just leave where i'm at. And if so what settings should I rasei? Dram voltage?

1. Increasing dimm voltage will allow me to push it to what?
2. I didn't do it because I have a 1.2 revision of asus a7n8x dlx and I hear they can't get more thatn 185-190 anyway.
3. Do you know I am right on this: I am currently at 184 x 12.5 = 2300 mhz. I'm dropping voltage and stress testing. Dropping down a notch after every 6 hrs of stress. I hope to drop temps and extend life.

i don't think it'll limit you......maybe you'll have problems hittting 200FSB without the VDD mod

ok voltage dropped to 1.65 @2313mhz. Don't want to get too reckless. For this oc to start off I just went straight from default 1700+ to 2300 mhz. hahahah....will push...see what this hyperx thing can do. So far I'll be satisfied with whatever I can get. This chip is outstanding.

Edit: Someone explain VDD mod plz.

Buy another one? Sorry I am poor college student. And I also have to confess...taking my sk-7 off the asus was the most irritating and aggravating thing i did all week. I do not look forward to that ever.

Try taking the PSU out BEFORE you pull the sk-7 off.😀

I did. So the experience went from downright undoable to downright unpleasant. =(....Next time i'm investing in a case w/ removable mobo tray.
