Thig is I might be leaving for a trip in three weeks time. I will probably be back after atleast 10 weeks. So within that time, would the next gen cards be released or will it take till Early 2007? I will probably be buying an X1900XT or 7900GT/GS
 
Prices won't have risen in that time. If you can bear to go 2 more weeks without upgrade (assuming a 1 week order/build process) then i'd wait.

True. When are the next gen cards coming out anyways? I was thinking of building a Core 2 Duo rig. Ive already sold my current one. Games I was looking forward to are Caesar 4, Crysis, TW, and the next CnC. I guess no point in rushing since none of the games I am looking forward to are out yet.
