This is Bush's 33rd visit to his ranch since becoming president. He has spent all or part of 233 days on his Texas ranch since taking office, according to a tally by CBS News. Adding his 78 visits to Camp David and his five visits to Kennebunkport, Maine, Bush has spent all or part of 500 days in office at one of his three retreats, or more than 40 percent of his presidency.

You think the President ever gets ANY vacation? They work more hours than any other person alive.. its grueling.. If he is in one of his "vacation" spots I guarantee you he is still working twice as many hours than the average American is.

Damn, and here I thought the war on terror was a full-time job. You just know he's probably missing important counter-terror meetings while he's ranching it up and clearing brush. On the plus side, I'm sure he'll be swatting a lot of flies out there in the back 40. Probably what Condi was talking about. :p

The President is fullly connected no matter where he is in the world. That is any President, not just Bush.

He's probably right on, chances are he's doing the same things or very close to what is done at Washington.



He's definitely working twice as hard as you though.....
