To people who *have* used Strength Shoes - do they work? If not, did you get your $$ back?

Thinking about getting strength shoes to add to my vertical. I have a question to ask to the people who HAVE tried strength shoes (or a similar shoe)...

Did they actually work? If so, how many inches did you gain on your vertical?

And if they didn't work, did you get your money back, due to their money back guarantee?

i used them for a little bit. vertical did increase(example: i'am 6 feet all, after using them, i could alley oop dunk a basketball both two handed and one handed, had to alley oop cause i couldnt palm a basketball, so everytime i dribble the ball and try and one hand dunk, the ball hits the back of the rim and pops out. almost had running two hand dunks, but need a bit more on the vertical)

ok...getting back to jump shoes. they work BUT you have to set a schedule of using them religiously(i mean, working with the jump shoes but also working out) if you stop using them, your vertical goes back to square one.

again, this is from my experience, im sure everyone has had a different experience with them
hope this helps :)

So... what you're saying is... you have to use them for the rest of your LIFE or you lose everything?

maybe i exagerrated a bit. you probably wont go back to square one, but you probably need to do some sort of routine exercise in order to maintain the vertical.

for example: i knew a guy who was shorter then me, but he could dribble and two hand dunk like it was nothing. but then again, this guy lived for basketball. so every once in a while, he would go down to the gym and have a jump shoe workout.

what im trying to emphasize here is that you cant completely abandon the jump shoes after you get a high vertical.

*EDIT* also, the jump soles that i had recommended using the jumpsoles periodically in the offseason, but during the season, cut back on the routine because you can tire out your calves.

hope this helps,
john
