To OPK or not to OPK - fresh Windows 7 install

I'm doing my first ever build and will be installing an OEM version of Windows 7.

Other than being able to design my own cool splash screen and not violating the EULA, is there and advantage to using the OPK? Disadvantages?

Any hints on doing the Win 7 install would be welcome too.
 
There is no advantage of using the opk other than the splash screen stuff unless you are planning on doing generic image for multiple machines vs just installing it from the dvd

So just pop in the dvd and follow through the install
