Well, I just spread some. At first, I think I was spreading it about thick. I think i used a 15,000 sqft bag on about 10,000 sqft... Anyone know if this will be a problem with killing hte grass?

It will only be about 2 strips that would have issues though as I cought it half way through the first bag.

And yes, I feal stupid and thanks for hte cookie and my mornic behaivior was due to haste.

Thank You,

Water it extra good, although that could cause extra pollution (eg more algae growth in lakes etc) but it will help your lawn.

We put about 2.5 times the recommended amount of fertilizer on our plants at the zoo... we don't fertilize the grass though, so I'm not sure about that :p

Supposed to rain two days straight. part of why I spread it today. And wouldn't less rain help since the rain is what "puts" the nutrients in the ground?

Water it in in case you don't get the rain you expect. Too much fertilizer will burn your yard up if you aren't carefull.

The amount you used probably will be OK. If you used ike 3 times the amount, or got a large amount in a small area, that can cause it to burn the grass and kill it. Hope for some rain.

Yup. Neighbor's lawn is nothing but yellow dead grass. I think he overdid it.

Edit: It probably didn't help that it hadn't rained in a month in Central Texas prior to these past few days. About 1/4 of my lawn is dead. :(
