You're either incredibly stoopid or incredibly courageous.

Nothing stupid or courageous about it.

exactly, I was bored (haha) and it wasn't like I took a Machette to it. I spent A LONG time, it was like trimming a Bonzi tree, you can't just attack it. Sometimes you just want to do something different. A normal person might have changed the brand of Coffee they use, me. I shaved Bob (what I call him, as in Bob The Builder "can you build it, yes I can!")

ok I am incredibly stoopid, you got me there.

as for the "I can't imagine anyone shaving down there" or "you must be gay" pr0n stars do it. And from last summer I realized that it makes everything more sensitive. And no, it didn't itch as it was growing back (for me at least) I have heard horror stories. :)

"I can't imagine anyone shaving down there"
Re-read my reply QB, the KEYWORD is shaving

Try WAXING . .. far superior to shaving UNLESS you LIKE itchy STUBBLE you have to shave again in a few days.

;)

Seriously

:p

The usual hot wax and tear off strips? Or is there some new fangled cream you can put there? I would think the skin around that area is sensitive...
Of course it's sensitive . . .and you WILL cut yourself with a razor . . . some day.

When you wax there, you use hot wax and TINY strips to remove ONLY what you can stand at one time . . . READ the instructions (or else) and then read them again . . .

for the wuses there is always benzocaine (included with many kits) . . . tylenol and that bottle of whine . . .

I once used that "Nads" thing on my chest and stomach area. Wasn't careful, applied it to a large area and stripped it off. Some skin peeled off with it too. That hurt so bad.

Tsk, tsk . . . someone didn't read the instructions. . . . :p

Here you will find answers to some of the many hair removal and bleaching questions we get here at Sally Hansen.

Well you don't use that big electric shaver the hair dresser uses. You use those small beard and mustache trimmers.
i gueess you could try a hedge trimmer if you don't like wax . . . you only will need to use this tool once . . . :p

I can understand waxing the straight areas, but what about the more "hanging" areas?

Hmmm, good question. I won't bother to read the rest of the thread.

Anyways, don't take a razor to it! Why shave everything? I use a regular set of clippers with a guard, usually the lowest available around 1/8". Trim it up, and go on. Don't waste your time trying to get everything. Not many women like a clean cut man down there anyways.

If you have any further questions or need Assistance, call 1-800-953-5080. Our consumer relations division will be happy to help you

Just remember to pull the strip - off quickly - pulling the hair against the direction of growth WHILE holding the skin TAUT with the other hand . . . (or you're gonna lose some skin, bleed or get blue marks)

Read the instructions that comes with the kit . . . they are very detailed . .. or you can always call them . . .

I have been shaving everyting off down there for about 2 years. A girl that I was dating at the time requested it and I figured what the hell I might as well. It does infact make a huge difference in sensitivity. The key to doing it safely is 1) Use a new razor everytime, or at most use it twice 2) If you have alot goin on down there use a clipper set or scissors to get it as short as possible 3) To begin go with the grain of the hair then as it gets smoother, make one or 2 passes against the grain 4) To get the "little boys" all cleaned up use scissors or clipper set to start, then when you use the razor pull the skin tight and make slow passes, do this multiple times in the same area then move on to another one.

I myself thought it was a gay idea at first, but she convinced me to try it. Well that girlfriend has come and gone but I have been shavin down there ever since. Being a college student in a party town I get to meet my fair share of women. And I'm tellin yah EVERY chick that I have been with has complimented me on how much better they like it. Hell some chicks that couldnt stand going down on guys told me that they loved doing that to me because it was so clean. Chicks dont dig hair down there and from my experience it is one of the best things I have done.

Sadly enough I get eczema outbreaks in just about the most annoying places possible, scalp and pubic area included. Anyway I have to keep the hair short in that area so it's not as painful. Have some scars down there too from past outbreaks.

Ditto. Some women have never seen it shaved before...they get curious...start playing...and they love it! :D I have for years. It feels better for me during daily life too.

LOL @ this from that link, above.

Squirm all you like. There's an immense subculture of eroticists who claim a bald bag makes for better sex.

Some Helpful Pointers ? Don't use an electric shaver. It'll mulch your scrotum.

? Never remove pubic hair with wax. Waxing your so-called bikini line is perfectly acceptable. But genital waxing can cause infection, and I'm told it hurts like the bejeezus.

? Never remove pubic hair with chemical agents or wipe-away sprays. (Does "baked beans" mean anything to you?)

? Always shave when you're sober and in a fully alert and attentive state of mind.

Bahahah! "Bald bag." :D

The best thing to do is use the trimmers. I have an electric shaver, but on the backside it has a little thing you can flip to use the trimmer. That's all you need to do, it'll cut that hair pretty short.

i shave my chest, armpits, biceps, legs from the knees up and most of my...area.

every girl i have been with loves it =]

basically, it takes practice. also be very careful if you are really hairy. I shave down there probably every 3-4 days, so i dont give it much of a chance to grow back. The job will be a lot easier the less hair you have down there (obviously). A couple of quick tips:

1. Use a fresh Mach 3 Razor (duh)

2. Pick up some girl's shaving lotion, not only does it smell better but I find that I get a much closer shave with it. It also does a good job of moisturizing after you shave, and I find I get less razor burn/ ingrown hairs, if at all. I like skintamite (sp?) shave gel.

3. Go easy, go slow, do not shave against the grain! heh! Be sure that you keep the razor clean and you dont go over an area too much.

4. Use some good lotion afterwards, dont buy cheap stuff. Jergens shave minimizing is good.

when the hair grows back a little the first time, it will itch like crazy (most likely). Dont worry about it, it wont be like this forever. It will get easier the more you do it.

god i feel almost like queer eye for the straight guy, heh. can you tell i've been living with a girl for too long now? heh jk ;)

good luck

The only hair men are allowed to shave/remove is:

1. Hair connecting eyebrow to eyebrow forming unibrow
2. Nose/Ear hair

If you are a swimmer, then you have a valid excuse to shave your legs. But that is all.

Beard Trimmer + Mach3

I've been doing it for years and the wife loves it. The time factor and the irritation/itching won't be an issue the longer you do it. I remember when I first started shaving my face as a teenager and thinking it sucked. But you get used to it and it becomes second nature. Same thing applies to scrotum shaving.

Are you gay? Are you trying to impress a gay guy? Seriously, people watch that show? It'd make sense if it were women giving opinions of what they like.

I shave, but i'm not hairy by any means. every girl I know (young, 18-23) definitely prefers shaved or at least trimmed.

Oh, geez. Take it from me (and I'm a girl), women don't like hairy nards. Or hairy backs, butts, shoulders. Do you like going down on a big ole afro? Neither do we.

Use a pair of scissors before hand to remove as much hair as possible (it should make it a little easier).
