To keep my PSP or not to keep my PSP?

SO I got my PSP about 8 months ago. I played it for a fe wmonths, but then realized I didn't really have a lot of tiem to spend on it. SO it sat around collecting dust for several months. I had considered selling it, but am trying to come up woth reasons to keep it. I mean if I am not gonna use it, then i will sell it. But I know it is a pretty powerful little gadget, so maybe I am missing some wonder uses.

I don't recalll what firmware it is, but I know it is later then 1.51, so no hombrew without a downgrade right? And if I downgrade the FW, then I probablly can't play most new games correct? I have a laptop, that i take with me on trips, so I don't really need the PSP for its video watching. I have an Ipod, so it doesn't help me that it can play music. Although I do have 1 2GB MS for it.

So what cool things I am missing otu on with the PSP?

once you downgrade to 1.5 you can play hombrew and you can still play most 2.71 FW games. what i am waiting for is the ps1 emulator to come out form sony.

Doesn't matter how powerful it is if you're not gonna use it. If you're just gonna use it to play a game or two on it and nothing else, then you're better off just selling it. The longer you wait, the less money you'll get out of it when selling. Oh, and the hacked firmwares? Useless. People actually use it to play SNES roms? You can do that on your computer w/ an emulator.

SO what are they going for. Like I said mine is like 8 months old, but probablly only been played 15 times. No dead pixels I can see, and madden 06 and twisted metal are the games I have.

You're right. The PSP makes a much prettier paperweight.

Either get emulators and roms (w00t), wait for the PS1 emulator to come out, buy Tekken, or quickly sell it on ebay.
