Get over it....what's Romo supposed to do? Live in a closet....be a monk? Guess he'd have to to satisfy all the boo-hoo'ers around here. The man is a man with a private life. You don't hear anyone bitching about Brady in NY doing up the town with his model girlfriend.

Romo didn't lose the game by himself...it's a team sport and the team lost....it's rare when one person can affect the outcome of the game so completely as to singlehandedly lose the game despite what all the other players on the team try to do.

Blaming Romo for losing the game because he took a week off is just so infantile, it's almost beyond belief.

As for Brady, he spent all of his 'vacation' time with his model girlfriend, and he did just fine Saturday...

Except those guys have been playing well and obviously prepared, by their play this weekend. Though the majority of the blame falls on the head coach, even with an extra week, for not having his team prepared.

so you are confirming that weekend in Mexico and the whole Jessica thing is not why the Cowboys lost yesterday? Witten played well and he is in Mexico with Romo and Jessica also...

Cutler, Denver's QB, is the one that started the talking, while SD was burying the Broncos. Rivers gave it back to him. Others were talking at the same time, but Rivers is the only one that gets pointed out.

Yesterday, the classless inbred Colts fans were taunting Rivers about his injury. I guess he's supposed to offer them an autograph? He actually said "thanks a lot". Personally I would never condone taunting an injured player. They also taunted LT when he got hurt.

But I guess he had the last laugh. It always seems to be fans of the teams the Chargers beat that have the problem with Rivers.

If not throwing a ball to his receivers for a few days is all it took for them to forget what they were doing, then there are other problems in Dallas.
Lots of #1 seeded teams' players took vacations at the same time....only Romo is dating is someone as high-profile as Jessica "manjaw" Simpson and was noticed for it.

Really. Doubt the Giants beat the Packers, but what if Romo had stayed home and banged a blow-up doll instead? Who would they blame the loss on?

Oh please, Romo's vacation had nothing to do with it. The Cowboys as a team did not come to play a big game. Too many penalties and poor execution. Blame it on the bye, blame it on their lackluster play in the end of the season, blame it on an inspired Giants defense, I don't know. But Romo's vacation is not the reason why. And kudos to TO for standing up for his QB. What he said is true. It's unfair to blame Romo. The crying was a bit much, but I certainly did not expect TO of all people to get up there and defend the QB.

people are always looking for a villian and now they're trying to pin it on rivers. you can't blame rivers for sticking up for himself. sit there and take the abuse? noone knows what was said between the fans and rivers because there was no audio provided. please.

First off, I am not a Romo fan, nor a Cowboys fan.

Second, if anybody was actually watching the game, they'd notice that in the 4th quarter the reason Romo looked so terrible was because he had NO TIME to dissect the defense. The Giants used a lot of great movement up front to put pressure on Romo, and it seemed like every couple of downs he was flushed out of the pocket.

Receivers drop balls, QB's make mistakes, but the Cowboys lost because their offensive line could not protect Romo when it needed to. Without a solid line, no QB can do anything.

And to think, the Cowboys have 3 lineman going to the Pro Bowl. :Q
