to get my networking running at 1000mbps...

Hi,

one of my pc is gigabit support(asus p4p800e-d)

and i am going to get a cheap gigabit support lan card(from buffalo)...

just base on this 2 items, can i get my networking running at gigabit speed?

I use a router in btwn this 2 pc. sometimes i will connect it my notebook (only 11mbps supports)

The router needs to support gigabit speed.

Each pc needs a 1GB NIC, the Switch has to be 1GB capable with Jumbo Frames.

And then you get about 1GB/5.
