TO DS OR NOT?

I saw a sign on the door at Toys R Us this evening that they were sold out of them. I guess people are going nuts for this puny portable game player.

I've definetly played mine for more then 3 hours.

I really like the dual screens for Madden 2005. It adds a lot of nice features that not even the consoles have.

It's heavier and thicker then I would have liked, and it's definetly not a must buy, but it's also not a definitve no.

I'm not going to buy a DS or PSP but I played the DS and I had a blast. The wireless capability was impresive. I say get one if you are going to use it.
 
I liked the DS that my buddy just got... It does have a couple games for it already, Mario 64 which is exactly like the Nin64 version as far as I can tell and some odd puzzle game that used the touch screen alot... Awesome sound from the two speakers on the top portion of the clamshell. I also liked how it allows you to have a DS game and a GBA game in the slots at the same time...

But I played with it for a few minutes which was about the only bit of console game playing I have done in 2 or 3 years 🙂
 
i walked into gamestop today to buy Halo 2 CE and I just asked out of curiosity if they had any DSes.

Well the worker there said that they just got a used one in, but it wasn't used at all. Apparently some guy bought it, and returned it right away and they had to mark it as used. I think he said it had something to do with the way he purchased it.

Anyways, i was able to snag it for $129.99.....saved $20 hehe.
