Dear DanC:

I promised myself not to post anything ever again in 'your' forum but with all the exitement lately about your new assimilation I just couldn't stand the temptation to let you know what I think about it. (And there goes another promise like so many before in my life :) )

I'm not here to whine :( or start a flame :| . I'm not here because I want to talk you out of it or to tell you it would rune the competition.

I am a proud member of DPC :) and I sure like the competition between DPC :) and TA but I know that if I had an opportunity like that :), I wouldn't doubt a second and if it runes the competition, so be it.

I bet you never heard Mika Hakkinen asks Michael Schumacher to not drive so fast so that it would be exciting until the last lap or heard Evander Holyfield ask Mike Tyson to not hit him so hard so that it would last another round.

I wish you the best of luck with your project and if you succeed than I'll be the first to congratulate you. :)

DeJa Vu!

I agree totally: If it is a "legal" assimilation,it is a good assimilation.

Go for it DanC. :->

My first response didn't post (darned RAS)

I wanted to thank DeJa for his very Gentlemanly thread. I've not made a decision on whether to proceed with the plan. Many of my teammates have expressed negative reactions to the idea. We may just stick to PC's.

But - this man is probably more indicative of what the DPC really are. Fine people. :)

DanC, go ahead with the plan. I think most of the complaining was when people thought "burn-in" ment permanent. I doubt anyone will have a problem with only 500mil.;)

Deja: That's a good, competitive attitude.
Dan: Go for it...just do it...burn 'em...this is way too good to pass up. Don't listen to the naysayers.

DeJa,

All talk about RC5 and cracking aside...

It's great to see another Formula 1 fan!! :D

<< I bet you never heard Mika Hakkinen asks Michael Schumacher to not drive so fast so that it would be exciting until the last lap >>

I'm sure a lot of the other readers of the forum looked at these names and didn't quite get the point, but I thought your example was perfect! I used to think that F1 was nowhere as popular in the USA as the rest of the world, but after seeing that record breaking crowd (of 200K people) at the US Grand Prix, I'm thinking that it's gaining in popularity. :)

Anyhow, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the outcome (and the start for that matter... what was up with Coulthard, eh?) of that race and how it affected the points standings, etc. etc. Send me an email when you get a chance (my address is in the profile).

See guys?! These DPCers aren't just cool for their cracking... they're F1 fans as well! :D

I agree DeJa; how else could I justify my upcoming assimilation at the dutch department of science? :)

Bwuhahaha :)

I can't wait for the next stats! I'm a stat-addict! Fanatic! It itches in my head if I can't have my daily
dose of numbers

Thanks Anybody - The way MrA was puffing around here this morning, it occurred to me that to assimilate the dutch ministry of (whatever) would be much akin to being the best dogcatcher in Panguitch, Utah. :Q

Isn't it odd how one member can be so gracious, and another can be - well, you know

I see... the DPC's have a Trump (sp?) card as well... I say we use it, cause Mr.Atheist sound like he got a huge Assimilation planned. :)
