to buy WoW or not too buy WoW? POLL!

Im sure if I buy WoW, it will steal my soul and I will no longer wish to leave the comfort of my chair and I will grow fat. I am wondering if I want to get charged monthly as well as play a game for hours that in the end proves meaningless waste of time in my life.
What are you opinions?

er, i lost interest after 5- 1/2 months, and i purchase a 6-month account (in addition to the free 1st month).

now no one is playing that account, maybe i'll renew after expansion. but i did save a lot of money in a long run.

Don't get it if you think you won't be able exercise self control.

Otherwise, it's a great source of entertainment if you can keep it to an hour or two a night.

also: this is mostly a joke, i can excercise control, its just i have free time bcmy friends all work during AM and i work during PM...so between waking up, and excercising (go me, i excercise!) i have free time.

however, spending monthly money just kinda turns me off for a video game

Go for it, it's a fun game to play and honestly, those who say it sucked their life away...well, it never happened to me.

I've been playing for about 2 months now and I honestly cannot play that game for more than 2 hours at a time. I just can't. When it gets near the 2 hour mark, I get all antsy and jittery and have to quit and do something else. This is actually very good for me since it allows me to go and pursue other things/interests.

Of course I have work 9 hours everyday too which makes the game all the more fun during the few hours I play.

I don't power game or power level yet I have progressed very far into the game. I have seen lots of the content (with much unseen too) and it did not take me 24/7 to get there.

As long as you can balance out the other things in life, this is no different than wasting 2 hours in front of the TV.

I'd recommend against buying it, unless you have no long term plans for about the next 6 months. It will consume lots of your time, weather you want it to or not.
