:)

Hello there...

Does the Bios influence that much in stability... and compatibility???

Will upgrading from WW to ZT (or something like that!) bring anything Good... for O.C. and stuff???

My Abit KT7A-Raid is running smoth at FSB110x10 (TBird 1Ghz@1.1Ghz) amd all performance settings are to the max... except for RAM (CAS3)... But holds at Turbo!!!

---

By the way...

I recently upgraded from Via4in1 429 to 431... and the s*** hit the fan!!!
As it reboots, it gave a error message... "Graph CArd not installed properlly... please reinstall the drivers..." --- so i did (Detonator 12.00) --- same error... --- installed the original Det. 5.65 --- same s***... --- then uninstalled everything (PCI Standard) --- o.k.!!!

Then Det. 5.65/6.50/10.80/12.00... (each at different times) again the error...
I´m going crazy!!!

Have you tried to uninstall the v4.31 4-in-1's and reinstall the v4.29's?

And, to answer your original question, flashing the BIOS can make all the difference;). That's not a guarantee, mind you, just assurance that some BIOS updates fix glitches caused by earlier BIOSes and improve performance, perhaps substantially. I like to do a search in the Motherboard forums(or ask, if my search yields no answers) to see what the results of flashing a new BIOS has been for other folks who've done it before me. Also, there are other BBS boards that focus primarily on motherboard issues that are worth a look. All I have now are Athlon/Duron rigs, so I like to check out the AMDzone forums and AMDmb.com.

Good luck;)!
