To be honest, I would be very confused if I got this gizmo as a birthday present

Seems to be a DVD player that plays proprietary DVDs encoded with proprietary software that almost nobody uses, and will soon become outdated and worthless.

Sounds like Packard Bell 🙂

* Simply use the DVD transcoding software with Nero Recode
* Change your video files into Nero Digital?
* Burn them to CD or DVD

Wow, 3 steps to do something that any dvd player can do right now out of the box. Those guys are marketing genious's!

I like my Philips DVP-642. Here's the steps to use it.

1. Burn whatever the hell you want to a DVD.
2. Play.

Really it's just the first step, but I added the 2nd in there so that PB wouldn't feel so bad about their waste of space/time machine.
